Welcome to the Pretty Geeky Getting Started Guide! In order to ensure you get the most benefit from working with me please take a few moments to work your way through these tutorials. These will help induct you to my systems and policies.

All consultations and reviews, unless agreed otherwise, will be conducted via Skype. Please ensure you add me as a contact so that I can contact you. My Skype username is ‘virtuallyangels‘.
Should any of the available times conflict with your Timezone please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange an alternative time slot.
Once you have booked your appointment you will receive a confirmation email from Acuity Scheduling.
This is the most important area you need to familiarise yourself with – your Online Office area!
You can access the Online Office by clicking the ‘Client Area’ link on the navigation menu of this website or following this link: http://prettygeekybiz.com/client-area
Details of all the work being done for you is contained within here and I will use this space to liaise with you regarding all aspects of your tasks/projects.
You will have been sent an email detailing your log in credentials for this area. Please watch the tutorial below to take a tour of your Online Office. When logging in for the first time I strongly recommend you change your password to something more memorable.
Assign a new task/project
To assign a new task or project to Pretty Geeky please either email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org or complete the form at http://prettygeekybiz.com/delegate with a summary of your request.
I will pick up your request and aim to respond within 24-48 hours Monday – Thursday.
I will then transfer all the details of your request to a relevant discussion in your Client Area to collaborate on the assignment.
If you require further support with anything (e.g. technical issues with accessing client areas, billing queries, etc) or have any general queries please email email@example.com.

Sharing Passwords Securely
To share passwords to your online accounts in a secure, encrypted environment I use LastPass (https://www.lastpass.com).
Please watch the video for guidance with setting up your account.
The LastPass user email you need to enter to share your password is firstname.lastname@example.org.
How Do I Know If Nikki Is Out Of The Office?
All planned absence from the office will be communicated to you well in advance via email and through the Online Office. Any cover being provided will also be communicated to you.
Any unplanned absences or technical difficulties will be communicated by either:
- Placing an announcement in the “Messages’ section of your Client Area; or
- By emailing you directly.
