In Pursuit Of Perfection

This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 3.

“Oh it’s such a perfect day……”

Ok, ok – I’ll stop singing! In today’s blog challenge from Natalie we have to write out our perfect day to help our minds conceive and believe our goals. Pretty easy right?! Then I hit a stumbling block!

I realised that I don’t really know what my perfect day looks like. It’s something I’ve never really sat down and truly figured out into a crystal clear vision.

As I thought about it more I realised that if I don’t know where I’m going or what I want, how can I achieve it?!

With that, I decided to spend the rest of the day reflecting on this and designing my perfect day – no holding back, no thinking small – I’m going to have the courage to get this out on paper (or the screen!).

My Perfect Day

I wake up at 6:30am feeling energised and excited about the day ahead. I get dressed and head downstairs with my iPad to go through my inbox with a cup of Green Tea to start my day off. I love knowing that I’ve cleared through my inbox and made a start for the day nice and early. There’s also a nice little surprise for me in my inbox as I made sales of some digital products too – I love that earning more money doesn’t have to equal more of my time every day. That’s true freedom!

At 7:15am I head back upstairs to start getting my little girl ready for school. I love having stress free time with her, getting us both ready for the day whilst we talk about the lovely things she’s going to learn today and what we’ll do after school finishes. We eat a lovely breakfast together before heading out to school with plenty of time for some fun on the swings or the seesaw before she heads in to class.

As soon as school starts I jump back in the car and head to my workout for the day – I might go to the gym to lift some weights or take a Barre class or a Yoga & Pilates class. I love how amazing I feel looking after my body and I’m in the best shape of my life.

At around 11am I head home to dive into my work for the day. I just love what I do and I’m excited to see how I can grow and help others every single day. Today I have some creative work to do on a project, I check in with my team and their tasks and I’m working on my next online workshop I’m delivering in a few weeks.

I take a short break for some lunch and a quick walk around the block to clear the cobwebs before I get back to it to finish my tasks for the day. I take a little time before I shut my computer down for the day to plan what I’m going to dive into tomorrow! Everything is so well organised and calm – I love that I don’t leave work for the day feeling totally frazzled, those days are long gone!

I head out to pick up my little girl from school and she’s really excited to see me. She’s had a great day at school and is bouncing up and down with happiness as we’re off to have an afternoon tea together full of yummy treats! Every week we do something fun together just the two of us and on Friday evenings we always go out for tea with Daddy somewhere yummy to start the weekend off perfectly.

When we get home we spend some time sitting together practising what she’s learned at school or just reading books together – I love how my business gives me the freedom to spend lots of quality time with my family.

Once my little girls is in bed I spend some quality time with my fiance (soon to be husband!) – we might put on a movie or a TV show we enjoy watching together and have a glass of wine or if we’ve got a babysitter we actually go out to the pub!

I also take a little time in the evenings to sort out the things we’ve got going on personally – I’m just in the middle of planning our next trip to our beautiful apartment in Spain – we love going there in the school holidays to get some sun and take a breather! The income we have coming in means we can easily visit there often and all our bills in both houses are comfortably taken care of with plenty of money for fun things too!

I then head to bed around 10:30pm feeling so happy and grateful for the life that I share with my family – I truly am blessed!

It’s the first time I’ve put anything like that together so I’m sure as things move forward and I start to achieve parts of that it might evolve a little more but I feel really excited to chase this down!

Why not write out your perfect day and see what you come up with?
