Putting On My Cape

This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 4

When it comes to acknowledging your strengths and what’s really awesome about you – I think a lot of the time we can sell ourselves short and downplay our talents (maybe it’s a British thing?). So to say today’s blog challenge is out of my comfort zone would be an understatement!

I know a lot of the time I genuinely believe that the things I’m good at are things everyone can do, right? Erm, wrong. Yet, everytime I hear this, it surprises me!

As uncomfortable as this feels, here are my superpowers:

Teaching & Empowering Others

I truly believe I was born to teach others. When I’m in a position of educating others a little fire inside of me lights up. I just love the feeling of sharing my knowledge to help others and when I see that look on people’s faces, when they’re amazed and overjoyed at their achievements – NOTHING feels better. I love to build up confidence and skills in others so they can do things they thought they would never be able to.

When I’m doing something creative I get so into it that hours can pass by without me noticing! I love taking inspiration and ideas and morphing them into something totally different whether it’s choreographing a dance routine or designing and building a website! That feeling when you see people enjoying your creations – whether they’re smiling whilst bustin’ a move or thrilled with their new website – I just love it! It’s such a wonderful thing to see your creative expression bringing joy and happiness to others!

Technology Ninja Skills

As you can imagine with the name of my business – I am a self confessed nerd when it comes to technology and coding and playing around with new software – I’m like a kid in a toy shop! I love to sit and figure things out, figure out new and easier ways to do things and put things on autopilot. I love to take the complication out of everything and use my nerdiness to make things simple. I love to figure out how I can use technology to save people time and streamline processes.

Now for the next part of Natalie’s challenge – figure out how I can use these superpowers to live a freedom lifestyle.

Luckily for me – I’ve already made a start at this with using my creativity and tech ninja skills – I’m already running a business where I get to exercise these talents every single day but I have to admit I am really craving the educational aspect – I want to do more of this. I have been doing a lot of thinking about running online workshops, webinars or mini courses to help the entrepreneurs who still want to DIY in their business and after writing this blog – now may just be the time to take that forward………….

I’m curious now – what are your superpowers? Let me know in the comments!
